The 1550nm Erbium fiber laser is split into numbers of microscopic beams targeting the skin, known as microscopic thermal zones. These fractionized beams trigger the natural healing process of the skin while keeping the surrounding tissues coagulated.
The treatment effectively removes old epidermal pigmented cells and penetrates deep into the dermis, remodeling collagen and stimulating skin regeneration. As the dermis fiber thickens, micro-wounds heal quickly, restoring smooth and rejuvenated skin after successive treatments.
By limiting the laser heat to fractional damaged areas, the skin heals significantly faster compared to traditional, full-area resurfacing treatments. This ensures optimal clinical results with minimal downtime and side effects.
